Gemco delivered a highly detailed residential build incorporating precast concrete, structural steel, aluminium, New Zealand limestone and extensive glazing. These robust architectural elements are balanced by warm, high-end interior finishes, including natural stone, timber ceilings, American black walnut features, custom joinery and integrated lighting.
The build also brought together a wide range of specialist features, including smart automation, wellness spaces, poolside entertaining areas and high-performance building systems. Every element needed to be carefully coordinated to ensure the home performed as well as it presented.
The Quay includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, three living areas and three-car garaging across a 607 m² floor area.
The home has been designed for both everyday living and entertaining, with expansive living areas, a substantial kitchen, temperature-controlled wine cellar, detailed lighting features and strong indoor-outdoor connection throughout.
The ground floor adds further flexibility, with its own kitchen, living area and laundry, creating a self-contained space for guests, extended family or larger gatherings.
The private outdoor area includes a heated magnesium pool, inground spa, tropical landscaping, limestone paving and a fully equipped poolside cabana. A dedicated wellness retreat, complete with steam room and cold plunge showers, adds to the home’s resort-style feel.
Further features include an eight-person lift, underfloor heating, ducted heating and cooling, fresh-air ventilation, acoustic tinted double glazing, solar and battery storage, and Control4 smart automation.
